Man there is a total lack of info on using jeti rx's in udi format. Does anyone know the correct settings. Is it auto and computed? 5 to 20ms computed etc. I know that in ppm on newesr firmware that fail safes in the rx do not work in direct mode. At least on my r4 rx's it did not. I do not even recall seeing fail safe settings when in direct. Who is using what LOL!

I am using computed, 10 ms On jeti, fail saves work in direct mode for the first 4 channels. More than that, no. That's why I am using computed.
Be sure to use latest Jeti rx firmware and latest tx software
Even though UDI is a digital protocol with checksumming and error handling, I keep the rx to spirit line as short as is practical.

Hi,
it should work in nearly any settings. Failsafe is always handled by transmitter (except Spektrum satellites).

I am using direct, 10ms and 100Hz frequency. I did first ten flights today with Jeti and R9. Latest FW in both. I don't using FS, because ESCs ( Jive and Kosmik ) are switching off in case of lost signal. That's all I want. Petr
