I have about 12 flights on the spirit now... it flys great in every way.
Twice now after initialisation the elevator servo has not moved, its like the elevator servo fails to initiate. The first time this happened I noticed before take off and re-initialised and all was good. The second time, I took off and crashed into some long grass with no damage.
Once again I re-initialised and all was good.
Just something I could think of..... the servo wire for the elevator has been extended to about 7 inches... the other 2 have been shortened to about 2 inches. Could this wire length difference be a factor?

Hi,

servo length does not play too much role, but you should check if the connection of all three wires are OK.
Even small and unnoticeable cut can lead in servo malfunction. It can be cutted very easily by carbon frame/parts.
You can do simple test with swapping cylic servo connectors in the unit. If it will happen to elevator servo even it will be connected as aileron for example, the problem is very likely in the servo cable/servo.

I highly recommend to not fly until it is resolved and issue determined.

Thanks, I will work through process of elimination.
