I have a Kosmik 200 in one heli and Jive Pro 120 in another one. Both are connected to Spirit Units for telemetry with TelMe (Spirit Pro and red Spirit).

And in both helis telemetry works, but sometimes telemetry data gets garbage values for 2 or 3 seconds. Like 200 temperature or mAh screwed. This ends up in warning coming from the radio. It happens maybe once per 10 flights.

I this something that can be fixed? Is this a problem on Kontroniks, or FBL, or on my side?

The receivers are FrSky X8R and X6R, radio is FrSky Horus X10, on OpenTx.

In one heli I use telemetry cable from the shop, but I cut it in the middle and made it longer. In the other heli I made the cable on my own. In both helis the stock cable would be too short..

Are you using twisted pair cable for your home made extensions?

Yes, both cables are twisted on whole length. Could there be a length limit?

Don't know about length limit, I can still get noise on another application by routing near strong sources or in a loom

Hm, in both Kosmik and Jive the TelMe wire goes close to motor wires. But it has to be like this, because it connects the ESC just next to them. Would some shielding help?

I know mine also goes next to motor wires and I have some weird updates sometimes.
Shielding would be worth a try and I was thinking of doing it with a bit of copper braid over the part that runs next to the motor wires. Not sure where to ground it, maybe just to the carbon frame. Will have to check.

Hello,

it could be related with radio/receiver firmware related to ACCTS. It was discussed here too with the same problem.
After downgrade all was resolved.

There is now an update to the bad OpenTX ACCST telemetry. Instead of downgrading, you can upgrade to v2.1.0. Zero problems after I upgraded. Other people too.

I'm using new accst for quite some time, this doesn't seem to be related. It's not about "telemetry lost" messages when you get too close to the receiver. It's about telemetry working fine all the time, but sending garbage data in ESC part sometimes.

Also, I upgraded HW130A to Jive. With HW I never had this problem, so it looks specific to Kontronik.
