What was the problem? You shouldn’t need pitch pump to do tic tocs at all. Tic tocs require more cyclic than pitch. If your rates are too slow increase them. If cyclic is too linear to get the aggressiveness you want in faster tic tocs increase flight style. I find 5-6 to be a decent and noticeably easier to do tic tocs and other things at.

Hi thanks for your reply ,i under stand that tic tocs are cyclic bur they also require pitch and the point that i was trying to make is that when i do pitch pumps there is a delay so the tic tocs are slow and the heli drops altitude and with the Beastx i did not have this problem can you let me know what settings to change .
I am new to flying helicopters so any help would be appreciated .I realy like the way the spirit feels locked on way better than the Beastx i am just trying to get it a bit more aggressive many thanks Tony

Interesting..can you give me more info about the model? I would check your thrust bearings in the head and make sure they are not worn out causing excessive force on the servos to move the swash up and down.

Is your governor set up correctly? A delay could also be headspeed dropping.

If that’s not it, try increasing feed forward gain in the advanced tab in the spirit software. You should be able to, on the bench without the helicopter spooled up, see the difference feed forward makes when moving the sticks; you’ll notice the swash moves more instantly with your sick inputs.

This behavior does not seem normal.

Hi thanks for your reply .I have the same problem over 3 helicopters SAB G 570 Brand new Align 470 l and Align 450l both the 450 and the 470 fly fine with Beastx on the SAB has never had any thing on other than the Spirit .
I do have an old Align 550e that flies really good with the spirit pro on ,thrust bearings on all the helies are very good .
I have just been through all the settings on the G570 /Align 550 and changed them on the 570 to match the 550.
I no that it is something on the unit that i am missing i don't think that it is mechanical.

Hi,

I think the problem is not related to pitch at all.
Parameters that could affect tic tocs and the rest to a great extent are:
Rotation Rate - by default it is configured intentionally to be slow. So a tic toc is not too possible. Model will be just slow with a full stick deflection. (Slow rotation rate)

Increasing it to 10-11 can resolve your problem.
Then it depends on how you wish to feel the sticks. If you like more direct response, increase Cyclic Feed Forward. For example to 7-8.

It is in the Sensor tab. Rotation Speed - Cyclic.
