uSpirit 3.1.0 YGE 35LVT, latest firmware FrSky R-XSR & Horus X10S ACCST v2.1.0 OpenTX 2.3.5
All my telemetry values from the 35LVT to the uSpirit's Sat port look accurate, except for RPM. It reads about 140 RPM when it should read closer to 3600 RPM or so.
I did NOT hook up the raw RPM cable to the P/E/A pins of the uSpirit. Instead I’m relying only on the telemetry cable that current/voltage/temperature get transmitted on. Is this my issue? Do I have to use the raw RPM signal to get RPM telemetry? I'm using the YGE governor and don't need the RPM signal for governing.
I’ve set the proper gear ratio on both Spirit and the YGE setup software. It’s a 6 pole motor (3 pairs), 113T/15T gear ratio.
The YGE has logs and the values there for RPM look okay to me.
Any ideas?

Seems I was double counting. I changed all the gearing and pole info in Spirit gov to 1. Seems to be more accurate now. I’ll need to double check with a tach.
For now problem solved!

Hello,
you should set Gear Ratio/Motor Poles in YGE or in the Spirit unit. Never in both.
