Post subject: | [SOLVED] Swash plate setup |
Setting up my second spirit on my trex600. Have a question on the swash setup. I have it so that all the cyclic servos are moving in the same direction with the collective stick and in the diagnostic screen in the spirit software the numbers go from -100 to 100, full negative to full positive pitch. The problem is that the swash is moving in the wrong direction. If I change the pitch direction in the transmitter it moves in the correct direction but now in the diagnostic screen the numbers are backwards. So now at full positive pitch the number reads -100 and at full negative it reads 100. I have not been able to correct this, but is it ok to leave it like this or is it going to cause problems? I did not see this problem with my trex 250. |

This is no issue. Same applies to my setup and it works fine. The only thing that matters is center at 0 and +/-100 at range. Michael |

Yes, it does not matter. You can read in the wizard and manual that this direction is not relevant. Only end points and center should be configured properly. This is caused because each model is different yet the unit does not require any specific directions, only final result matters. |

I finially got back to setting up my 600 after a long winter and a remodel project. I was able to solve this problem by swapping the pitch and aileron servo connections and just had to reverse the elevator in the software. Everything works fine now. Just thought I would pass this on. |
