When Looking at the spirit top down sticker is visible. Sat Port on the left. Bus at top. or facing toward front of heli. What are the pin outs for the sat port. Which is Signal which is power, which is ground?? Using the orientation mentioned above.

Problem is not able to get Pack voltage or MAH consumed from Hobbywing V4 ESC. I was able to get the ack voltage before the new update. So checking what is wrong???? I do not want to buy a UNI Cable.

Thanks..

Hello,

there is nothing different between Spirit updates for the hobbywing telemetry.
So if it was working previously there is no reason to modify your cable. This will not help.

What update you installed?

Is ESC telemetry still enabled?

I never had a cable. I made the cable and it gave me the voltage before, but now it does not. That is why I had asked for the pin outs for the spirit. I did not accuse the update of being the problem. Just that I had gotten the voltage before. I am trying to get the MAH consumed. But if the batt voltage is not working, the MAH is definitely not going to work. The new 2.8.0 update was applied to the spirit. The new hobbywing V4 Vbar update was applied to the esc. The telemetry setting was selected in the expert window. I can access the spirit integration screens in the jeti. Just not get any telemetry from hobbywing. 3.3volts comes from the orange wire in the sat port. The other two I am not sure of. Orange Right, Black center, grey Left.

In Jeti Sensors/logging setup all parameters show up including s capacity. So it is communicating, but voltage and mah usage does not change. Voltage is 0.0v on displayed telemetry.

did you try to go back to the "non-vbar" firmware? i have no clue, but is it possible, that vbar version is only speaking protocol 'vbar' and not 'hobbywing native' anymore... ? so why apply vbar firmware if Spirit is used... ?

So the answer to that is the Hobbywing had a vbar firmware update. Along with other things. It simply was supporting hobbywing. So yes, I rolled back the firmware. And it is still doing the same thing not showing pack voltage or current consumption through the spirit. However it is showing the telemetry sensors so I can only assume the spirit is seeing the hobbywing. Just not passing the data through??? I don't know. That is why I posted the question.

Hello,

telemetry sensors will be displayed in any case, even if no cable is connected.

Please buy Telem UNI cable, then it will work. If you have no Telem UNI cable then JST-RX without red wire will work.

So I figured out that the data wire is the grey wire and the black is the ground. Since you did not want to provide that information. I have Pack voltage telemetry. The only way for the spirit to send that to the jeti, is from the Hobbywing V4. The sensors show up in the Jeti when you turn on telemetry for hobbywing V4 in the spirit menu. When you turn off the telemetry, only i think vibe and rpm show up as available sensors. So that has nothing to do with connection as you stated. I now have to test for mah consumed and see if it works. But the assumption is if the voltage is being transmitted, then the mah should as well. I will need to test this weekend.
