Post subject:  [SOLVED] Loading a File Doesn't Bring Its Values

Hi,

I'm loading a file saved with different values and the values don't change in the unit after I perform the load. There is no confirmation message of a successful load either. The file was saved with the same firmware I'm using, 1.0.25.1.

Going from one file to the other doesn't make a change in the unit and it stay on the last values I set being connected. I even found the Stabi setting of bank 2 changed to Rescue(acro) when it was set at stabilization on both files. This, in particular, is critical.

Your help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

unfortunately I can't replicate the issue. I have tried it with few saved profiles.

Can you attach your profile files, please?

Are you saving it to the unit after loading the file? Bottom left button

Hi,

I apologize for the late reply. I've been out of time to do more testing until today.

I did a lot of saves and loads, and what I found is, when a save is done in a computer file, what's saved are the values of the active bank, which is the bank chosen in the software, and NOT the values of all the banks in the unit.

Likewise, when a load is performed, you're actually loading the settings of a single bank into the active bank. As a result, if you want to save the settings of all the three banks in the unit, you will have to make a file for each of the banks. It took me a lot of tries to notice this, as I thought I was saving a profile, as it's called in the manual, rather than a single bank setup.

I see the confusion comes from the fact the unit was originally designed with a single bank setup and when a save or load was performed, all the settings were included. But now the unit has three banks, this is no longer true. I believe the manual should be updated so people don't get confused as I did, and to avoid users from loosing data thinking they're saving or retrieving the data of all the banks at once.
