Hello, i have some issues with the rudder / gyro on my rex 500 ant can't figure out what's the problem
The Rex starts to spin counterclockwise after i leave ground, i can move the gyro gain to full on Normal mode and even on heading hold, it doesn't do anything. Only if i give manual rudder i can correct it and it stays wehere it should be. So it seems like gyro dos nothing at all. I tried several head speeds between 1500 and 2100 rpm but nothing helps. I also set the Max travel for the Tail Servo an did all the stuff mentioned in the setup guide.
so gyro does not stop the counterclockwise spinning but Manual correction does.
any ideas?

I Managed to get it stable in Heading hold mode, so when Heding hold ist on it is rock solid.
But in Normal mode it still turns counterclockwise with around 360 Degree per 5 seconds.

Hello,
if you can see a rotation in Normal mode it mean that mechanical center was not configured properly. You have to change tail push rod length to stop the rotation. The tail slider should be rather slightly closer to the boom or in the middle. At the same time servo arm must be exactly in the middle.
Please verify that when Servos/Subtrim (tuning) is enabled the servo arm is exactly in the middle.
