I bought a Spirit Pro gyro and Geolink unit, and I got it beginning of this week.
I instaled the gyro first, and set it up without errors.
After that, I connected Geolink and do a setup.
I use a separate channel with 3-way switch to activate "Return to home".
Now to my question.
When I have the gyro connected to my computer, I can set a new home spot, the LED goes out, and lights up again.
But when the gyro is not connected to my computer, and tries to create a new home spot, the LED does not go out.
Do you have some ideas?

I use a Futaba T8J transmitter, and I use S-Bus connection.

Regards

Hello,

this might be caused because GeoLink has no signal or signal is poor.

Are you trying to program it outside at the field?

Hi.

I have tried both inside and out.
I've been waiting for the blue LED to come on before I set another point.
The strange thing is that it works when I'm connected to the computer, but not when I disconnect the USB connection.

You can use the USB cable go into Geo Link Aid tab and watch to see if the RTH say Programming when you flip the switch. This will tell you if your TX is configured correctly.

Have also looked at this, and it is as it should.
Have tested now again, connected to computer, and without internet connection. I can create a new point. Removes the USB cable, and even now I can create a new point. Removes the battery, and reconnects. Waiting for the blue LED to come on, but now it's impossible to create any point ....
What this is because I have no idea. Can only create points if the gyro is connected to the computer, or has been.
But if I restart the gyro without connection to the computer, it will not work ...

If you want to set a home point using the USB you must have an internet connection for the Map to work.
If your setting it with the Radio it must be programmed to send either -50 or -100 on the RTH channel. -50 sets the Home Point in the current bank, -100 sets the same point in all 3 banks at the same time

Are you watching the LED on the Spirit and not the Blue LED on the Geo Link.

I look at the LED on the gyro.
I just want to put the point from my transmitter, but it only works when the gyro is connected to the computer.

Have your verified the settings in the TX as I suggested ?

Yes, I have. All looks good if I understand right. As I wrote before, everything works when I have
the USB-interface connected to the computer, but not when the USB-interface is disconnected.
