Hello!
What settings need to be adjusted in Spirit for a Scale Heli?
The helicopter has a three-bladed head (rotor blade length 700) weighs about 8 kg and
has a speed range of 900 to 1300!

Thanks!

Frank

Hello,

you might need to adjust Virtual Phase Angle in the Expert settings depending on the rotor head.
Cyclic Feed Forward could be lowered because stick response will be more aggressive.

Thank you!
What should I set for a three-bladed head in cyclic phase?

This depends on manufacturer of the rotor head.
The most todays heads are working with 0° phase correction, so likely you do not have to set anything.

Usually a three blade head work fine with 0° since there is still a 90° angle from the swash plate connection point to the main shaft (axis) versus the center line of the blade.
Sketches for this can be found in the net. ;)

Heads with 4-Blades and more have a twisted swash plate and slant connection rods due to the limited space.
This twist has to be corrected virtually by the FBL system. Sometimes the right value is in the manual of the head.

OK,
I have now set in the Expert menu under Cyclic Phase -15 °!
Now the rotor blade, which is level with the TailBoom, does not move!

I think it is more save to fly the heli with 0° first.
The 3-blade should be fine this way.

Worst case would be, that the heli doesn't fly straight forward with the elevator stick moving.
The direction could be 10° or 20° off course. It is easy to compensate this slowly with the stick.
My Align 4-blade head for a 500 size heli requires +20°
