Hi all. This is my first flybarless heli, and obviously my first Spirit controller so go easy on me please I have set everything up with the wizard, and as far as I can tell everything is moving in the correct directions from the controller and Tx. I am however having problems setting the 6 degree head geometry. If I set the rear blade to 6', the front blade is as 8.3 I cannot understand why this would be - I have used a swash leveler very carefully. When I spool up the heli, there is obviously -ve pitch from the smoke direction. To confirm, the cyclic follows the Tx Stick in direction. (Elevator forward, swash forward. Aileron left, swash left etc). The swash attempts to stay level when the heli is rolled in pitch and yaw. The swash raises with pitch up and lowers with pitch down. What is going wrong do you think? I'm stumped... Thanks in advance, Jim I have the following setup. TRex600n DFC OS55H-R with an align governor sensor. Spirit Flybarless (duh) Outrage Torx 81xx series on cyclic and rudder Futaba S3470SV on throttle Futaba R2008SB Receiver |

I don't know which servo arms you are using but I found it impossible to get the 6 degree setting within limits using the align servo arms and had to change to standard arms with holes closer to the centre |

Hi Andy, I'm using the stock Align disks using the inner hole. I can get the 6 degrees, but with all the arms at 90' the pitch doesn't seem to end up being symetrical. One blade is at 6' and the other will be at 8. Also, If I set the max +ve pitch to 12.5 degrees, its not -12.5 at the bottom. Now the blooming motor wont even fire - dry as a bone in the cylinder so must be carb or reg. Grrr. Jim |

Please make sure that when you tick Servos/Subtrim (tuning) the blades will move exactly to the center - 0° between main blades. At this point swashplate and servo arms should be at the center too. This is very important otherwise all other adjustments, including Geometry 6° will be incorrect. You should be able to achieve 6° with all common helicopters. |
