Hello, I have Trex 450 fbl with Spirit module and GeoLink. What I would like to achieve is to have Stabi (the mode I have selected) all the time active and to use some switch on my radio to turn position hold on/off as needed. Using PWM receiver (Spirit unit has only one aux slot), so for the time being, only one channel can be used for assigning to GeoLink. For that purpose - I use 5th channel (previously used for gyro gain). In channels window in Spirit settings - I have assigned channel 5 to F:Position hold. It works OK as expected: as I toggle the switch on my radio, I see in GeoLink settings "Position hold" going from "inactive" to "active". By using drop down menu in STABI tab in Spirit settings, I have selected my prefered stabilization mode ("Stabilization mode normal"). But since I don't have any additional channels available, I could not assign any channel to F:Stabi! Is it enough settings to have Stabi active all the time? Or - to have Stabi active it needs to be assigned to some channel as well? Thanks, Denis |

You can Fly in Stabi all the time. If you assigned it in the Stabi Tab on Bank 0 then you need to set the Rudder gain to NEG in the Sensor tab start at -50%, that will enable the Stabi function. Also in the Channel tab make sure you have Gyro Gain and Bank unassigned. |
