So I’m getting no lights on the Spirit, and recovery mode isn’t working. What’s secret instructions to force firmware update via boot loader?

Hello,

unfortunately if the unit does not work - no LED light during power up, then it is necessary to send the unit to us. It is possible that the unit was damaged somehow.

Could you please describe what was the last operation before the problem occurred? Then I can give you a better details.

Hi Tomas,
It was being updated. Status stopped at 90% and stopped. I let it sit for an hour and no change. After that the unit just stopped responding to anything. No lights on power up, not recognized when plugged in to usb, recovery attempts fail with no response.

Ah, are you able to see any activity of the Status LED during power up? - exactly when the battery is connected

No, I don’t see any led activity at all.

Ah, if the unit was very, very old, then it could occur if the previously installed driver was old.

I have sent PM to you.

I have units from 2014 and 2015 when these were first released. So yes these are probably some of the earlier batches. I did update the PC software as newer versions were released.

Sadly if normal update failed it mean that the driver installed is likely not good. For this reason also recovery process will not work. So first from all I recommend to install the driver again. During Spirit Settings software installation it is enough to check the Driver to be installed.
