I fly Geolink with Position Hold and Altitude Hold Function. I only activated it at hovering and with zero wind. That worked very fine.
Today was heavy windy conditions and i was too scared to activate the Geolink. Does it work correct or does my heli crash?
Can you say something about the performance of the Geolink at heavy windy conditons or when you flight 3D figures. What happen when you fly with full speed forward and then activate the Geolink with Position Hold and Altitude Hold?

Hello,
it will still work correctly, wind has basically no effect on GNSS/GPS signal. Only the model might move little bit more - precision will decrease due to technical limitations, but that is all.
When you are flying fast the model will slow down in a few seconds and then will maintain the spot. So nothing dramatic will occur.

I have had no issue with geolink in heavy wind. The gps lock is really good. It acquires enough sats fairly quickly to get position lock. The wind will slow features like RTH but they are not really issues.
