Post subject:  Frsky x10s and gyro settings

I am using an x10s with frsky os not opentx, I have adjusted end points so that the tx gyro and spirit diagnostics match, but when I change gyro in tx 1 increment equals 2 in spirit so for example if I change from0 to 10 in tx spirit goes from 0 to 20. Any idea why it is doing this ois it something I am not doing right or a setting in the tx. Still new to the brand so I may be missing something.

Hello,

please make sure that the travel range in your radio is same.
Try to set 100% Gyro Gain and verify in the Diagnostic tab what value you can see there.

You might just change travel little bit.

100% in transmitter = 100% in diagnostic full green bar
50% in transmitter = 0% in diagnostic green bar in the middle
0% in transmitter = 100% in diagnostic no green bar
51% in transmitter =1% in diagnostic tab
52% in transmitter = 3% in diagnostic tab
53% in transmitter = 5% in diagnostic tab
54 % in transmitter = 7% in diagnostic tab
and so on.
so the endpoints are correct but the individual steps are not, 1 step in transmitter = 2 steps in diagnostic tab
Does it have something to do with that there is only 0-100 in transmitter but there is effectively 200 in spirit? 0 to 100% and 0 to -100%

Is this correct for the horus x10s on frsky os?

Hello,

I am not sure but it should be possible to change the range of the channel. With OpenTX it correspond with -100 - 100% gain.

In any way it is not a problem at all. You just have to know that 50% correspond to 0%, 0% to -100% and 100% to 100%.

So flying Gyro Gain should be above 50%, probably between 60 - 80%.

Thank you ZeXx86, I didn't think it would be a problem, I will look into it further and see if I can change, but as you say it shouldn't be a problem, just need to remember that it is double the increments from the TX. At any rate have set it at 60 for now and will see how it flies.

Will frsky os and spirit integration happen soon?

Great.

We hope that the integration will be available soon also for the Frsky OS.
