Post subject:  Center shows large deviation in setup

Hello
II have an older Spirit unit running software version 2.4.0.
I have recently upgraded my transmitter from Spektrum DX8 to DX9, and am trying to redo the setups on the new TX.
Receiver is AR8000 with satellite at 11ms.
My issue is in the Spirit setup menu, the centres are pretty far off, Rudder shows -4%, Elev shows +4% and Aileron shows -4%.
I realize that the instructions specify not to input any subtrim in the TX, and that the program will automatically set that value, but is it actually resetting the above to 0?
Should I ignore the above deviations from center and set the servo range to 100% according to the program?
The reason I am concerned as well is I have already setup other helis on this transmitter with Spektrum AR7200 and V-Bar controllers, and both show 0 to 1% deviation from center, not the extremes as noted above..

Best Regards

Sorry - possibly bad advice so I've removed it

Hello,

these offsets could occur when some cable is not connected (for example Rudder channel). So at least aileron, elevator, rudder channels must be connected. But from your description it was all connected properly.
During initialization period there should be no stick movement.

If you are referring to the centers in the Diagnostics Tab
try doing the stick calibration on the DX9. You will
find it on the last page of the system setup menu.
