Post subject: | [SOLVED] intial start up goes nuts |
Been away for a short while anyways on my 500 align heli when I plug the batt in it goes nuts for a couple of seconds and then stops...then initializes like normal. I have recently replaced like for like servo..... any ideas? Cheers, Chris. |

Hello, it look like some BEC related issue. Could you disconnect all servos (and anything that is not necessary) and try it again? |

Thanks for the reply. I disconnected all the servos then plugged in one at a time which resulted in an initial short movement then the up and down bit, the last servo which is a new replacement dipped down when the others went up when first plugging in the battery. then when I do bailout in quick succession it bounces very quickly at each limit up and down. could this be a problem with the new servo or have I missed some setting. I didn't change any settings as the servo is an exact replacement and even centres in the exact same place. Cheers, Chris. ps, all the movements and bailout are going the correct way. |

Unfortunately it look like a servo issue. This should really not happen at any moment. I guess that it is causing a short during these events and probably BEC is restarting as safety protection. The only servos we have experience that were doing a very similar things were from BK. |

Finally got around to stripping new align servo down and there was a grumpy gear in there that you couldn't really feel when assembled. Changed the gear and all is well. |
