Hi, I intend to wire my Tribunus 6 120a opto esc to my Spirit Pro, and not sure about the wiring.
I assume that the yellow wire of the slave lead from the esc connects to the center pin of the ELE/PIT/AIL port, for rpm reading and governor. The master lead from esc would then connect to AUX1 on Spirit? I also assume that as this esc has no bec that its electronics are fed through the power leads of the master or the slave lead, or both?

Thanks for any info,
Eric.

Hi,

you are right about the connection.
Since there is no BEC it will not be fed from any of the ESC outputs.

Hi, thanks for confirming the connections.
However I should have been more clear with regard to how the esc is supplied with power for its own internal electronics. I was wondering if it needed to be connected to the Spirit units power rail, being fed through the master and/or slave lead. Perhaps it just needs to be connected to the main batteries?
Thanks,
Eric.

Hi Eric,

according the manual of Tribunus they are connecting Master/Slave it in both cases in the same way. I think that Slave does not have to be connected.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I will be connecting the master lead to aux 1 anyway, so this should be fine I think.
Many thanks, Eric
