My spirit pro has been very difficult to show solid lights on satelites. I use dual sats, and they have been inconsistant about binding. I have not flown yet, only working on setup, but MOST of the time sats are blinking. Yet ocaisonaly I get both solid red.
I have charged batterys, switched esc's, swapped sat positions, re- bind a few times,,, But I must be doing something wrong.

Are you talking about binding procedure (with a BIND plug)? If yes, it is important to select correct modulation (DSM2/X). What transmitter do you have?
Also the problem can occur, if cables are partially damaged (connection is not perfect) - this happened to many pilots. We have experience that even brand new Spektrum cables can be faulty yet no damage is visible. But multimeter can show it clearly (also it can happen only in particular deflection).
In this case replacing cable will help. If this is the case, it is serious problem for flying too.

Ah, is the blinking of same speed as when you are binding with a Bind plug? If yes, do you have something connected in the ELE/PIT/AIL or SYS ports? USB interface can be connected also during initialization.
