Hi

Got a trex 550 dominator and spextrum dx9 radio. In the spirit software I have got the 3 banks set up as follows:
0 = normal mode
1 = Auto level
2 = Resque

With the speed control disabled I can flic the switch in the radio into the different banks and all works fine. Even in mode "0" and if I move the swash plate and flic to mode "1" one can see that it enters auto level mode and going to mode "2" the swash shoots up to apply the requested pitch.
The problem is that when in flight and I flick to mode "1" there is absolute no difference in flight. The heli will not auto level. (There is no difference between mode "0" and mode "1"

I have checked all settings and seems ok. Even changed from auto level acro to auto level mormal.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have negative gyro gain in bank 1 so to actually activate the self level?

Will have a look to make sure, but from what I can remember bank 0 is +63 and bank 1 is -63

Value for bank switching is not the Value for Gyro gain
Bank switching value should be -100 0 +100
If you set your gyro gain via Spirit Software and not via the TX, you have to set the gyro gain in the sensor tab on all 3 banks.
The banks with special functions (rescue / self-leveling) need a negative gyro gain value for activation.

Bank switching is -100 0 +100

Sensor BO

Sensor -> Sensitivity -> Cyclic Gain 60%
Sensor -> Sensitivity -> Rudder Common Gain 1.1x
Sensor -> Sensitivity -> Rudder Gain 63%
Sensor -> Rotation speed -> Cyclic 8
Sensor -> Rotation speed -> Rudder 11

B1

Sensor -> Sensitivity -> Cyclic Gain 60%
Sensor -> Sensitivity -> Rudder Common Gain 1.1x
Sensor -> Sensitivity -> Rudder Gain -63%
Sensor -> Rotation speed -> Cyclic 8
Sensor -> Rotation speed -> Rudder 11

B2

Sensor -> Sensitivity -> Cyclic Gain 60%
Sensor -> Sensitivity -> Rudder Common Gain 1.1x
Sensor -> Sensitivity -> Rudder Gain -63%
Sensor -> Rotation speed -> Cyclic 8
Sensor -> Rotation speed -> Rudder 11

Hope this helps

In Diagnostic tab, do you see your Bank switch behaving properly?

Everything is normal.
Even if I move to bank 1 head lock shows +stabilization and in bank2 head lock + rescue. But in flight there is no self leveling.
Next possible consideration is to flash back to the previous version and have a look

May it be you have a wrong expectation of the Self-level behaviour

No, on my 700 nitro the auto level works as it should. On the 550 there is no difference between normal mode or auto level

Ended up doing a factory reset. Redid the setup and all working now. :)
