I have the spirit basicaly setup.
Hovered the heli yesterday and it was close to a hands free hover straight away on a 450L, so pretty happy there.

I want to get telemtry working and then the Governer with my Castle Phoenix Edge Lite 50.
I have soldered the 10Kohm resistor between the red wire and white sensor wire.
Do I now connect the sensor wire into the centre pin on the Ail/Pit Ele port?
I using Jeti intergration and a R3L receiver.

Hello!

If you have soldered 10kOhms resistor, then you have to enable the Link-Live feature in the ESC.
After this it is only required to enable CC telemetry in the Spirit Settings software then it should work.

All details can be found here:
http://manual.spirit-system.com/index.p ... _Telemetry

Regarding governor - yes, you have to connect the auxiliary wire in the PIT pin (middle).

HI,

I am trying to do the similar setup and face some problems.

castle 50 edge and cc BEC and hobbywing rpm sensor.

cc BEC to 7008sb to S/Pro
cc 50 to aux1 (without red) --- Q1) thus I don't need 10kohm wiring (?)
RPM to PIT pin

Turning on linklive in cc s/w and CC on in advanced tab, give me no motor running at all.

Now,

Q2) Is this because I didn't plug "modified frsky telem wire" to SBUS2 ? (I am going to order one)

Q3) If I get telem wire, I need to plug red wire to AIL pin? (I should use PIT/AIL at the same time anyhow...?)

KH.

Hi,

first from all, you will not need HobbyWing RPM sensor, because Castle ESC already has the sensor built-in. RPM is transmitter either by Castle telemetry and possibly by RPM lead.

You will need 10kOhm resistor in any way, if you want to use Link Live. The cable must be powered from the BEC, so red wire can't be cutted.
It can be cutted after 10kOhm, otherwise it will not work. With internal BEC, no cutting of red wire is needed.

Yes, you will need FrSky integration cable if you want Futaba telemetry. It is necessary that channel transmission is working and you can control the servos.

1) I did solder 10kohm resistor and it works great.
2) I removed hobbywing rpm sensor and tested with "governor tester" and works fine.

Thank you for the advice.

KH
