Post subject:  Rescue - Diagnostic Tab shows inverted - how to change? Tipp

Hi all,

i tried to change from the "old" type of rescue (Negative Gyro Gain) to the NEW Separate Channel.
Everything works now fine with the Spektrum DX9BE (Black Edition)- the spirit uses the version 2.4.1 also the WiFi Link and Mac Software.
The gyro works fine on the spirit and also on the DX9BE. So Gyro is fixed.

Following Problem:
The gyro is now on the transmitter and a new channel (G) is used for the rescue.
To use it, i changed on the Spektrum DX9BE the "Hold Switch" in the "Flight Mode Setup" to "Switch G" and activate position 1 and 2. Position 0 isn't activated.
But the tests on the Diagnostic Tab of the spirit software shows on the "hold" mode (position 1 and position 2) only "Head-Lock" and shows on the "normal" mode (position 0) the "Head-Lock + Rescue".
What is now wrong? Also a change of the "active position" to invert the switch
- from active 1+2 to active 0 and
- none active 0 to none active 1+2
=> result = only 0 is active
doesn't help and shows on position 0 the "Head-Lock+Rescue".

Any ideas? What is wrong in my thinking?

best regards

armin

Hello,

I am little bit confused with how do you wish to configure it exactly, but I recommend to do this:

In your transmitter:
In the Gyro menu set the channel to Gear and values to be changed by Flight Mode.
In the Governor menu activate the menu and set activation by Switch you like (the best is 2 state momentary switch for this).
Then set -100 and 100% values to position 0 and 1.

In the Spirit Settings you only have to set in the General/Channels F: Stabi function to Channel 8.

Then all should work and should be easy. So anytime you want you can engage the rescue.
