Is there any need or benefit in using a programmable mix in the Tx to "zero out" cyclic and collective inputs when activating rescue?

I have a Spektrum DX9 and it is easy to generate a mix to cancel cyclic inputs when a switch or button is asserted. Still thinking about how to do it with collective pitch though :(

But is there any real reason to pursue this anyway?

I only ask because my Blade 130 S manual states to centre the cyclic stick and bring the collective pitch to zero during bailout. Maybe this is just a warning to reduce consequences when bailout is released.

Hello,

with Spirit it is not needed at all. If you are afraid you will put there unwanted cyclic input, then set Stick Priority to 0. This will solve it completely.

Regarding Collective pitch you can't affect the rescue in any way if it is active
