Hi,

How would I go about the wiring to have integration with the Frsky XSR?
The SYS port is not supposed to have any power input, so should I split the integration cable and wire s.port signal+ground to SYS and +5V
to RUD?
I have it operational with a FrskyX4R SB, but the connectors are not the same and I would rather not fry any of the stuff..

Brgds
Stefan

Hi,

you have to use GND, +5V and S.Port from the XSR connector for the integration

You do not have to split GND since is already in the OpenTX integration cable.
But you have to carry BEC voltage to the +5V somehow, very likey over the SBUS cable.

Thank you for your response.

Woulden`t your suggestion feed +5V back to the SYS port, or am I missing something?

No, it will not feed there 5V, because middle wire from one side is not routed to the other side. Middle wire which goes to the SYS port is used for communication purposes. This is reason why you have to power the integration cable from side of the receiver.

It worked like a charm, thank you :)

For others having a look at the scheme, remeber that you will need to run ground also to the RUD port.
If you do not, and disconnect the integration wire from the SYS port to connect USB or wifi, you will not have any power to the RX.

Maybe you can change the wiring scheme Thomas, and I will mark the tread as solved?
