I installed the pro in my new Banshee. What gain settings would be safe to try the maiden flight? From what I am reading on the Banshee site is that the 850 is sensitive and others have had trouble with Spirit pro settings. The gains may be lower than is to be expected.

Hi,
if you are using FBL blades, then it should be safe with default cyclic gain. If noticeable lower gain is needed, then it is possible that: a) Geometry 6° was not configured well b) Head dampeners are very, very soft or completely rigid
Actually nearly all helicopters should fly well with Cyclic Gain between 50 - 60%. If not, then it is suspicious (at least with Spirit).
On the other hand, it is completely safe to fly even with the lowest Cyclic Gain. So you can set for example 40% without any worry.

The blades are Rail 806, fbl blades. I will try the 50% gain on cyclic initially. Any suggestions on tail ? Again I have heard these are pretty sensitive. I have 120mm tail blades. Head speed will be 1600-1700 & 1850.
