Post subject: | [SOLVED] Jeti Mezon RPM with Spirit Governor |
Hi i wired my Jeti Mezon RPM with Spirit to use the Spirit Governor. When i spool up, the rpm is much to high. In the Spirit configuration software. Calculated RPM 1350, real RPM 1980 The Mezon RPM is the same like the real RPM in Spirit. In Diagnostic Throttle is set 0% to 100% correct. Divide is set to 5 and gear to 10,6 Same settings in Mezon. - Mezon is set to Fast Response - Motor Align 750MX 10 Pole - Gear 10,6 - Timin 15 What im doing wrong? Any idea? I only connect the signal wire to the Spirit. GND form Mezon is open. Could this be a problem? thank you for help |

If you are saying that actual/real RPM (tached? telemetry?) are 1980 and Spirit thinks it is only 1350, then the parameters you used (sensing divider and/or gear ratio) are wrong. You say 5 (and 10 poles motor, fine) and 10.6, but for others to be able to check... what heli? What pinion? |

Heli : Raptor E700 128T MainGear and Pinion 12T I check the pinion again. 128/12 = 10,6666 The new sensor qualitiy light at firmware 2.30 is blinking an sometimes jumping between enabled and disabled. Logging shows governor enabled. |

Hello, can you tell me what version of Align 750MX motor it is? There are only two possible reasons for this issue: - Motor poles are not correct for your motor and you will need to set number 4 instead of 5. - Spirit is showing correctly but other side not. Is the reading stable in the software? |

align 750mx 530kv Input voltage: DC11.1V-50.4V Max continuous current: 100A/165A(5sec) Max output power: 4400W/7260W(5sec) KV value: 530KV Stator Arms: 12 Magnet Poles: 10 Dimension: 6x52x61.5mm Weight: 452g it is the red one https://www.freakware.de/p/750mx-brushl ... 120881.htm. which value is the correct one Stator Arms or Magnet Poles. I alway thought Magnet Poles. Thank you |

It should be Motor Poles. So your settings seems to be OK. Can you reverify if the kV is matching with your motor? Then we can be sure, that it is really the same motor. |

The problem with the governor is fixed. I use with my Jeti DC-16 Flight Mode and delay. I code a change time for switch between the flight modes with 5 seconds. My max rpm for governor was set to 2300rpm. I only want that my idle1 is at 1600 and idle 2 at 1900. So i think this combination was the problem. After i reduce max rpm in governor settings to 2000 rpm and reduce the flight mode delay at 1 second for smooth change between the flight mode, the governor spool up to the correct rpm. I do 4 flights at the weekend with this combination and it worked correct. Thank you for your help. |
