Is the Spektrum AR7700 a good choice for a single connection receiver ? AR8010T if I want telemetry. |

Yes, it is better choice than Spektrum satellites or older PWM receivers. Both will work. |

Am I better off switching from AR8000 with Satellite to AR7700 ? If so what is the advantage other than Serial connection ? |

You will get all available channels. With AR8000 you will get only 7 (with Spirit Pro) due to PWM connection. |

Sorry I'm a little confused Spektrum Manual states 8 channels with PPM and up to 18 channels with SRXL and Remote Receiver. The advantage is that the data transfer is very fast compared to standard transmission by single wires for each control function. Spirit Pro supports SRXL correct ? |

Hello, Thanks for the great forum! I am also with an ar8000 and satellite on my Spirit Pro. I can not adjust my tail gain ... I activate the rescue and my tail gain is not active, if I disable the rescue I can set my tail gain again. I have either one or the other 60 and -60 on my switch but if I change this value it does not affect my tail gain! I would like to have my tail gain on my 3 types of rpm flights and rescue it on an independent channel. I thought that with the new version we could put the rescue on another channel but I think in PWM it is impossible ?? I can not get the rescue on channel 7 and the tail gain on chanel 5 So I am forced to pass with an AR7700 to have rescu and be able to adjust my tail gain? Thank you for your answers. Sorry for my english.. |

Hello, if you are activating Rescue by negative Gyro Gain (Gyro Gain function is assigned in the General/Channels window), then you can change gyro gain by your transmitter. Place where you defined 60 and -60% will directly affect the Gyro Gain too. If Gyro Gain is unassigned in the software, then you are probably activating Rescue by banks. In this case you can change Gyro Gain in the Sensor tab. You can use PWM and activate rescue with a dedicated channel. In the Channels you have to only assign F: Stabi function to Channel 7. Then you will be able to change Gyro Gain with one channel and activate the Rescue with other channel. |

Thank you for your answer. Yes, in an ideal world, I understood all that I am connected as on the pwm schema of the manual. No banks in the software. I got the rescu with my gain in my radio defined 60 and -60% but no affect the Gyro Gain !. That I put 30 / -30 or 60 / -60 no difference in flight on my tail gain. But if I desctive the rescu I take control of tail gain. For the F: Stabi function to Channel 7 I can not activate it ... the indicator is gray unless I disable channel 5. |

Please start the software and check the Diagnostic tab. When you activate the Rescue by assigned switch, you will see there also Gyro gain. The value must always change when you do any change in your transmitter (gyro gain). It is only important what the unit will see - what you will see in the Diagnostic tab will be used. |
