Anyone have problems getting Talon to recognize high throttle position ? I followed the procedure in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIygxaozogc , although with a different (Spektrum) FBL, but with a similar Spektrum radio. Thanks for any tips--(this ESC has been set up successfully with Vcontrol/Neo, which has an ESC Wizard for setting high/low throttle, etc) but I am using a Spektrum radio/sat with the Spirit (new Dx8 gen2). Everything is working correctly with the Dx8/Spirit setup--just cant' get Castle ESC to arm. Thanks |

Hello, first from all you will need to assign Throttle in the software. By default it is unassigned. You can do so in the General/Channels, Throttle - Channel 1 is usual settings. Then everything should work. Make sure that Governor in the unit is not activated during calibration. |

I've setup in the past, the spirit against a Talon90, so I know it works. For me, it was: - Make sure spirit see's the TX throttle, from 0->100% in drag - Calibrate the Spirit -> Talon90 by bringing in the start/end points in throttle calibration screen within the spirit s/ware, bringing the full throttle out (higher value) until getting the beeps, pulling throttle down on the TX to zero, then pulling the low throttle in the spirit s/ware lower until it arms. Very similar to doing on the TX, except you're doing it in the spirit s/ware. Can't remember if I had to reverse the throttle signal or not, but that might be worth a shot if you can't get the full throttle to register against the Talon at all. |
