Post subject:  [SOLVED] New to Spirit FBL and the first question

I got my second spirit pro today and put it in a thunder tiger raptor E550

Everything is working fine, the only problem is that the tail is moving up and down during flight .

Not much and I can fly like this, but it would be nice if there is a parameter in spirit to stop it.

Check the Tuning Guide in the Sticky section for elevator procedures

Hi,

is the helicopter after crash or it is new one?
If it is after crash, then it can be caused by a bent main shaft.
If new, then it could be too tight bolts in the blade holders - in this case blades can't center properly so it is not balanced.
Making it more loose it will solve the problem.

Thank you for your help. I will try the things you suggested and look if it is getting better.

The thing is , the heli was flying till thursday with a vbar without that behavior ,

on friday I recieved the spirit pro and put it into the heli . Maybe the spirit is more sensitiv.

If it worked well with Vbar, then it can work well with Spirit too and can be tuned with parameters.
The parameters that could affect this are:
- high Sensor/Cyclic Gain
- high Advanced/Geometry 6° (please verify the value)
- high Advanced/Elevator Filter
- inprecise Subtrim settings

If you are flying with low RPM then it might need a special tuning.

Did you select a 140 degrees swashplate? Just a thought
.

Yes, I selected the 140° Swashplate. And I did some small corrections in the mechanical setup and the geometrie 6° and now the problem is solved.

Thank you very much for all your help
