Hi there,

I can't get the gyro compensation right.

Depending on how I set the swashplate to CCPM 120° or CCPM 120° (reversed), either aileron or elevation compensation is correct, the other one wrong. One is always wrong.

In the old 1.x.x. firmware version you could reverse gyro compensation direction separately for each channel, this configuration item is now gone.

I did not change the wiring of the servos before upgrading vom 1.3.x to 2.0.0. and 2.0.1.

No revering in the transmitter! Now connect the servos to the proper port, than reverse in the Spirit software if you have to. If that doesn't work you have still reverses in the transmitter or have not connected the servos right, or you haven't selected the proper mounting position.

Mounting position is correct.

So when I set CCPM 120° and elevator gyro compensation is correct, indeed I need to "reverse" channel 2 to get swash plate movement corresponding to the sticks, and gyro compensation for that channel is incorrect.

Now you are saying, I have to switch the two AIL and PIT servos on the spirit, so that gyro comepnsation is correct, and undo the "reverse" in the transmitter.

Is that correct?

If so, what is the benefit to have the spirit assume the gyro compnestaion diretcion based on the configuration and not allow the user to change it?

Michael

Ok, it worked. I swapped the two servo connectors and now it works fine.

Thanks,

Michael

So now they are connected as shown in the wizard picture?
