I've recently connected my Spectrum telemetry to the Hobbywing RPM output of my Goblin 500. Im using the Spirit governor and got my first results from todays flight. Running the Quantum 4120-1200 KV motor with the 18T pulley. Packs are gens ace 4400 45C
Im running ~2407-2410 RPM and tried a few flips and rolls and this is the typical RPM variance I see.
It dips to approx 2360 RPM when I flip to inverted & push negative collective and jumps up to approx 2480 when I go through 0 and into positive collective when completing the flip. Also my flight pack voltage dips from 22.2 to approx 21.4 when going negative & inverted. That was approx half way through the flight (3rd minute or so)
Granted my collective management skills are not great yet - have not perfected them to be fully stationary so Im loading and unloading the head more than someone more experienced.
Wanted your views on this variance - would you consider this good governing or not?
Full flight telemetry below. Flight was circuits and a few flips & rolls thrown in-between. Whats your thoughts on ESC temp, flight pack performance and governor performance?
