This is my first set up on this heli and I can't seem to be able to get rid of elevator tail bounce, especially from backward imput. I tried everything I could have thought of but it is still there. I have Cyclic gain at 68, tried everyhing from 40 to 70. The elevator filter at the moment on 3, tried full range from 0 to 4. It seems to be a bit better on 4 or 3 but it is still there. Cyclic rotation speed at 11. The heli flies great but the tail is bouncing up and down on fast stick imput, more so in negative elevator imput. Any idea anyone?? BTW this is on Spirit v.2.0

Hello,

can you tell me what cyclic servos and main blades do you use?
Stock T-Rex 550 should fly very well with Elevator Filter of 2-3.

Cyclic Rotation rate could be too high, it is good for 3D, hard 3D. If the value is too high, yet mechanical limit is not allowing such rotation steering can be inprecise and similar behavior can happen.

If you are unable to tune it with Elevator Filter, than the problem is very probably in the configuration or mechanics (e,g. axial bearings).

Cyclic servos are all stock DS610. Rotation is 11, I tried 8 it was doing the same and mechanics is not a limiting factor. There is no radial or axial play in the bearings. This heli was flying very well on Mini Vbar with zero issues like this and is mechanically sound. Blades are stock Align, head is slightly modified DFC 600 for reduced mechanical gain hence for Cyclic throw of 6deg I ended up with 103, well within the recommended range. Any other ideas??
