Hi.

Is there a way of setting governor RPM lower than 1500. I have several large scale helis that require 1000 to 1400 RPM head speed.
I have used several Spirit gyros in large scale models with great success and I would like to use the governor function.
Regards.
Roger

Halve the sensing divider and double the max headspeed. Or double the gear ratio and double the headspeed :)

(do you also wonder why they do not want to fix those minimum and maximum values and they suggest these crazy workarounds?)

Yeah not sure why really.... Maybe some number / code limitation but still

OK I'll give that a try. I guess the command and the measured values will be (2) twice the real RPM.

Hi,

if you need 1000 - 1400 RPM, you can set 1500 as Max Head Speed without any problem.
To achieve 1400 RPM, just set 93,5% TC. To achieve 1000 RPM it should be 67%.

Nothing else needed to change, so all can be configured properly.

Slightly off but what is the formula to calulate headspeed % for instance with 3200 max?

Formula is quite simple: Requested RPM = Max Head Speed * Throttle Curve

Throttle Curve is usually in % so you have to divide value by 100.
