My equipment:
FBL units: Spirit Pro
Transmitter: Jeti DS-16
Receivers: Jeti REX7
ESCs: Hobby Wing V4's, Jeti Mezons with BEC and RPM wires, Castle EDGE
I am trying to figure out where is optimal to connect the Throttle wire from the ESC. Is it best to connect it to the Channel 1 slot on the REX7 receiver or is it best to connect it to the Spirit Pro AUX1 slot?

Hi,
if you are not using governor from the unit, then the safest way is to connect it directly to the receiver - it is the closest possible path. But in case that your ESC has internal BEC, it is better to connect throttle connector directly to the unit. BEC must feed the servos where is the highest load in this case. So generally it is more safe.
