The VBar has a Flight Style setting that apparently gives you a "robotic" feel on one extreme and a "vivid" feel on the other extreme. I never understood that explanation. I remember going up and down on that setting and never noticing a difference.
Now that I am using Spirit, the rescue feature has allowed me to try more aggressive moves, and my flying skill is progressing exponentially. As such, I am more enthusiastic in spending time fine tuning the Spirit to help me get the most out of the Spirit.
I am trying to figure out what the "Flight Style" setting does. Yes, I've read that a setting of 1 will yield a "more constant and linear bahavior", and a setting of 8 will yield a "paddle-like steering". It has been 3 years since I last flew a flybar helicopter (T-Rex 550), so I don't remember what it felt like to fly it other than needing more corrective stick movements to maintain proper attitude compare to FBL, so the "paddle-like steering" has very little meaning to me. I've tried a setting of 1 (min) and a setting of 8 (max), and I cannot tell a difference between the two.
1) What should I see between a low setting of "more constant and linear bahavior" and a high setting of "paddle-like steering"?
2) Are there any flying moves in particular that would accentuate the difference between "more constant and linear bahavior" and "paddle-like steering"?

The best is to try it. There is nothing to loose.
The unit will not unstable in any way as with flybar with the highest settings, so there is nothing to worry about.
For bigger helicopters I recommend higher values. It will reduce any delay. With higher values you will feel more you are controlling it directly. Around center it will be rather smooth, but agressive input will do the agressive response.
