Hi!

In the manual, when it speaks about the rpm sensor, it says i can power the rpm sensor from the satellite receiver port, which is as the manual putting out 3.3V.
In a spektrum receiver manual, you can see that it's working range is 3.5-9.6V

So what is the actual voltage of the satellite port of the spirit pro?

And I'm planning to use ar7700 receiver, which has a remote receiver output. if i connenct it to the spirit pro, will the curren be enough to power the receiver, and its remote, and can i still connect another one of this to the other satellite port to the spirit pro?

Thanks!

Voltage out of the sat ports is 3.3V as per the Spirit manual.
Why do you doubt?

AFAIK, the Spektrum satellite manual does not disclose the voltage.

Hi,

Voltage from the satellite is really 3.3V as described in our manual (please check also polarity of the wiring).
You should connect the receiver by normal servo cable, not satellite cable.
If you will use SRXL, then it can work digitally just with one connection.

Spektrum satellite port in the unit should be unused in this connection type.

Hi,

you have to select SRXL/SUMD receiver type in the unit, save and restart.
Unit should be connected together with receover by normal cable.
SRXL port in the receiver, RUD port in the unit.

exactly what i'm doing.

And in the channel assignment window if i move stick, the bars deosnt move, just 0, or full, and randomly.

Same with red spirit unit, that im trying now and same with the pro. the receiver is an AR7700, brand new. Just opened the box.

maybe channel assignment is wrong, but cant find anything to rely on which channel is which, the default setting doest work.

This is strange. You can try the same thing with PPM, if it will work then the problem is in the SRXL part.
AR7700 has also PPM output which is also single line protocol.

I've tried it with ppm, it is working that way, channel numbering is wrong, but aileron elevator movenet works well.
But with SRXL no channel movement in software, jus -100 or +200 randomly.

AR7700 has a satellite output, where it send out the data like it was a single satellite receiver. But 3.3V from sat port is not enough to power the receiver.

is the ground common within the sat port, and servo ports? So if i power the receiver from servo port, and the only the signal wire goes into the sat port, will it work, what do you think? :)

BTW in the manual, at SRXL part, the picture is wrong, it says on the pro picture EX-BUS, and on the picture the signal wire goes to anothe socket, not rudder.

Can i verify somehow if the the SRXL output is working correctly on the receiver? it is brand new, and binds normally etc...
