I need to connect up a Multigov Pro Nitro external governor to try instead of the onboard one. Any idea how this would be connected?
I am using a Jeti DS16 TX and the Spirit unit is connected via EX bus to a Jeti 3 channel receiver. Would I bypass the Spirit systems throttle connection and connect directly to the receiver?
The Multigov Pro requires an input from the receiver, output to a servo, a 3way switched output and a sensor connection.

You can set Throttle channel output from the RX so there will be no connection with the unit. You can map the channels in Device Manager in the Jeti. Alternatively you can use Throttle output from the unit.
