I can't check right now, but I think same problem is with rudder end points.

BTW. It's great to see the script open source, thx so much for that.

Hello,

this could happen if your throttle stick is high. It is new feature to prevent from crashing if you forgot to disable it.
Can you let me know if your throttle is higher than 0%?

One note: I'm on 3.6.1, not sure if this matters?
I checked and it behaves this way (for subtrims) even if throttle is low. My throttle is zero (throttle cut) and it happens. Video: https://youtube.com/shorts/ESHwqK56ERk?feature=share
But good thing is - for rudder end points it behaves correct.

BTW I got confused if you mean throttle or pitch, because you mentioned a stick, which normally controls pitch.

For pitch I think we need it to be high when entering leveling mode, because if you use levelers like this:

then you need to have high pitch first, so you can put the leveler below the swash. And then enter leveling mode.

Hello azaz44,

have you updatet your firmware to 3.7.0r2 ? I think this is necessary to get the newest functions-
You are working with the integration to set it up - what ETHOS have you on it ?
And what script do you use ? (3.5.0r2 or 3.7.0 ?)
Do you have an YGE ESC ? If yes you will need a special software that the newest will work -

Regards

I'm on Ethos 1.5.9, and Spirit 3.6.1 in most helis. The script I downloaded on last Friday (shows 3.7.0).
I have 2 YGE ESCs. So you say sth will not work if I update to 3.7?

BTW. I think this problem with servo subtrims was there in script for Ethos always. So it isn't anything related to the new version.
I think same problem was with rudder end points, but this works now.

@Mattes61 - does servie subtrimming work for you?

Hello,
I am on ETHOS 1.5.9 too and the script is the newest 3.7.0 -
I had problems with firmware 3.7.0 with YGE telemetry hang and no stick reactions -Tomas made a special software and now it works perfect - I think if you PM Tomas he will make it possible that you can download this software too - but it is at the moment not an official software to download - As I understood Tomas correctly there will be later an official download - when I do not know...

With the subtrimms I have not tested yet because my heli is always flying and I have no need to change something there -

Regards

No need to have special firmware for YGE. It is already officially available for all.

Could you possibly test? It takes 10 seconds while having heli on power at the field.

Thx for info.

BTW Thomas, now when the script is open source I can maybe ask this question. Is there any advantage with scripts using requestParameter / getParameter / writeParameter instead of pushFrame / popFrame? I was testing a bit some time ago and it looks to me both work. But the first method only works on some units, IIRC must be connected over F.Port or S.Bus. While the 2nd method is just like it was on OpenTX and works all the time and on all Spirit units, over S.Port.
