Hello,

we resolved the problem in the new Lua script.
It will be available for download likely from tomorrow.

FrSky changed behavior of Lua interface from previous version. So the script will not work on older EthOS versions from now because of this.

Yes, it cant work. Many Lua scripts are broken since 1.5.7.

Hello Tomas,
great to hear that the scipt will work again !
Thank's to you and your team !

Some functions in LUA are now marked as depreciated as you can see on github and I think this will change from time to time again that the script won't work and has to be changed...unfortunately -

Perhaps a suggestion regarding the LUA scripts, one could refer to using the LUA script version 3.5.0 revision 2 up to ETHOS version 1.5.7 and offer it for download, that can remain unchanged and then use the most current script, which for example only works from ETHOS 1.5.8 onwards - This would also take into account users who do not want/cannot upgrade to the latest versions -

Best Regards
Matthias

I think thomas released the source code for the 3.7 integration version, not the compiled luac file, it's the lua file !!!
or am i wrong

Hello,
that's fantastic news !
LUA is now open source I saw that in the Spirit Settings-Tool at News !
I also have to say they made a really great work on the new 3.7.0 Firmware, with much additional possibilities -

I know why I remain loyal to Spirit, it is the excellent customer service that is second to none, thank you very much!

Regards
Matthias

Not only it works, but it has "log viewer" section there. It doesn't work for me, but it's probably sth coming in future which is great. I actually wrote a simple log viewer for myself in the meantime, this will not be needed anymore.

One has to be careful at the moment, as if you don't close the script by the right button, it leaves Spirit LED blinking. But it's great to see some development made for us.

Hello,
with my configuration doesn't work with the new firmware 3.7.0r2, like with Firmware 3.6.2 !

Telemetry hang from YGE Aureus 135 a short time after start and no stick reactions as by firmware 3.6.2 -

Back to 3.6.1 and all works fine including Integration (Script 3.5.0 r2)-

My config:
ETHOS 1.5.7 or ETHOS 1.5.9 the script (3.7.0) does not work with 1.5.7 and firmware 3.6.1 - with 1.5.9 also not because of the other problems (with firmware 3.7.0r2) (sensor lost after short time and no stick reactions)...

Spirit GT
Transmitter HORUS X10S Express with ACCESS and FBUS-Protocol
Receiver Archer R8 Pro with Archer RS (Signalredundancy)

I think there must some be done...

Regards

Edited: added information Spirit GT, I had it forgotten to give this info...
