In that case your Swashplate mixing could be configured to CCPM 120 in your transmitter - this is wrong.
You have to disable CCPM mixing or set it to H1.

It was set to CCPM 120. I did not see any H1, so I changed the swash to "normal". Now the servos seem to be working correctly. However, throttle hold, no longer works. When I move the collective/throttle stick the diagnostic shows both throttle and pitch sliders moving.

Here is the way I have things set up:

Servo Setup = when switch is flipped the gyro slider moves -100, 0, 100

DX9: RX Port Assignments = 5 GEAR: Gyro
Channel Input Config = 5 GER: Inh / 7 AUX2 "E"

FMode= Switch "B" / TH Switch A

Spirit Software = Banks channel 7

Bank 0 = Stabilization (normal)
Bank 1 = Stabilization (scale)
Bank 2 = Rescue (normal)

Diagnostic shows three banks, with gyro settings I put on my TX from the setup guide (70, 68,66).

Throttle and pitch slide move together.

TH in normal position, throttle works motor. TH switch in "hold" position starts motor when flipped.

Sorry to be so much trouble.

Jim

Turns out I had to set the throttle "hold" and the throttle "cut" to the same switch to get things to work. On other helis I never used throttle cut.

I also learned that "H1" means 90 degree swash.

In the channel tab, under general, there three boxes for "function". What are these for??

In the stabi tab, I have the three banks set for different things, but the settings remain the same for each, 60 and 6. There does not seem to be a way to change them. Is "stabilization (scale)" just name for the bank and does not change any settings?? If so, how do you set it up for scale??????

Then your Throttle Hold is not setup correctly. Typically Throttle Cut is used for Nitro not electric.

No problem, you are welcome.

These are Realtime functions, which can be configured to a channel and remotely configured through your radio.
You can set any 3 parameters and control them in any time you want.

You can find description here: http://manual.spirit-system.com/index.p ... on#GENERAL
See Realtime tuning.

Regarding Stabi tab - If some parameter can't be changed, than it is not available for the selected Function. When you will select to a different, some parameters will be available while some not.

Thanks to everyone for the assistance. Things are starting to come together nicely now.

I have set bank 0 as stabilization (normal) with a setting of -65 Bank 1 as stabilization (scale) with a setting of -75 and Bank 2 as Rescue (normal) with a setting of +65. Rescue responds off the momentary button. These settings are just a starting point right now.

1) Since the two stabilization Banks are negative, will the Rescue still work in these Banks??

2) Is adjustment of the cyclic ring basically the same as using DR on the TX to limit movement of the swash?

1) If your gyro gain is configured so that it can change from 65% to -65% (for Bank 2) then the rescue (normal) will work too. If it is hard configured in the software (your Gyro Gain is unassigned in the Channels) then it will be Off all the time.
If you wanted just to use Rescue (Normal) then it will be active whenever you will switch to the Bank 1, while Bank 2 will be used just for normal flying since the Rescue in this bank will be off.
2) No, usually with the FBL units you can't set the limits in the transmitter. So only Cyclic Ring will work in the right way to set the mechanical limits.
Dual Rate will act only as a parameter to set speed of rotation, but I recommend to use it only with values between 80 - 100% for fine-tune the speed. Usually using Rotation Speed in the Sensor tab is enough so you do not have to change anything in the transmitter.

Thank you Thomas. With some help from lostnyheli, I believe I have everything correct now. Should be ready for a test hover as soon as one more part arrives.
