How about the way some drones do it when they lose radio link, i.e. they come back to home and auto land? I know a heli is more dangerous but what if the home position is where no one else is nearby? This is assuming the heli comes back accurately to the home spot.

Somewhat madly,
I was watching a setup video for an old Skookum SK720 I was given and it appears that the steady state Auto at failsafe feature is something the Skookum can do so I'd have to presume the Spirit could do it too?

Cheers

You can engage Return to Home or any other feature, including Rescue - once signal is lost.
The problem is only motor.

You can select either to turn it off or to let it run.

I really do not recommend to set -4°. This would cause helicopter to crash, not land. Instead angle between 0 - 4° would be sufficient. The most safe angle is 0°. Helicopter will fall, but damage is likely to be minimized.

With Rescue and Rescue Hovering Pitch it can be configured. Engaging Position Hold will then cause the model will stop, while Rescue will recover the model and eventually land. If you will set a proper pitch angle, then it can land very gently.

Hi Tomas,
I was meaning WITHOUT a Geo.
Being able to set the blade angle depending on the heli would be useful.
I'm no auto expert, and I fly autos by feel but it was my understanding that 0 degrees is possible to auto because of the airfoil but is marginal without some forward/backwards/sideways movement too. Not that it matters, that could be arrived at by some experimentation I'm sure!

Cheers
