hi i have a spirit rs and a radio duplex ds12 spirit edition and geolink.
Now i have activated the governor from the spirit.
I soldered on 2 wires motor the rpm sensor hobbywing.
I entered the signal cable of the sensor in the pin rpm (EXT/RPM/E2) and the positive and the negative in the door e1 (my bec i entered it in the door aux).
Now if I enter in general - governor and i and I check if the sensor is active or no, when the engine starts to turn the sensor turns on and off intermittently.
laps are read even when the sensor is inactive.
Is normal or no?
motor: align rcm-bl520mx 1600kv
esc align rce bl75g (governor and internal bec are deactivated)
bec robbe 2s
spirit rs
geolink v2
jeti ds12
3 hitech hs-5245mg
1 futaba s9257
trex 500e

I have another problem.
If i insert plug servo in pin rpm and + and - in port e1 the sensor not read good rpm.
If motor is stop the sensor rpm read that the motor is in rotation.
If I press the cable signal the rpm result 0.
I have changhed plug but the problem is equal.
The sensor hobbywing rpm is new i open this sensor from the envelope.
Now what do i do?
I try to put graphite ?
And I have crimping togliere i try to crimp all 3 cable?
Now i soldering one servo plug.
But for me the pin rpm have good contact.
The rpm in the software are read is normal or no this situation ?

Hello,
sorry for saying that but your english is very hard to understand -
Just write it in your native language, maybe it can be better translated with Google Translator-

have you read that ? helps this maybe ? The priciple must be the same -

sorry for my bad english.
Yes I entered the cables in the same way as in the photo.
After I create a video and I'll show you how laps are read.
I have also a radio jeti ds12 spirit edition and i downloaded the last version of the firmware of the radio from the software jeti official.
After I downloaded the last integration jeti from this link
https://spirit-system.com/dl/jeti/SPIRIT-3-4-1-r2.zip
now this Version is 3.4.1 (integration jeti) and the spirit has Version: 3.4.4.
if I enter in spirit from the radio it tells me to update to the version 3.4.4 but the latest version of the integration is 3.4.1
Why?

Hello,
at first the english is much better :)

Yes the integration file is SPIRIT-3-4-1-r2 - I think that works also with Spirit Firmware 3.44 -
What is not entirely clear to me, do you have a combustion engine or an electric motor? Unfortunately you didn't provide any further information -

Have you already read through this?
https://manual.spirit-system.com/index.php?title=Governor

Since I haven't used a Spirit Governor myself, I can only refer to the manuals at the moment -

Tomas, can you please give franz88 a hand?
There are some others in this forum who use the Spirit Governor and/or have a Jeti DS..., why don't you help franz88 ??

Regards

Hello,

some sensors are sending RPM data even when there is Throtte Off and motor is not running.

In some cases this problem can be resolved by changing Throttle Range - Minimum value to a lower. Maybe 20-40us can be enough.
Then it will stop completely.

Before any change in the settings please verify that when motor is turned off your Throttle channel is at 0% in the Diagnostic tab.
Can you verify this?

who is Tomas?
I know that thomas he is the creator of the spirit.
I control from the radio monitor the signal sent to the spirit.
When the stick is at minimum has value -100% as you can see in the picture which I attach called "minimo.jpg" and this value in in the radio it is accurate
Attachment:
minimo.jpg
minimo.jpg [ 229.84 KiB | Viewed 659 times ]

with sticks in the center I have value 0 in the channel monitor
Attachment:
centro.jpg
centro.jpg [ 303.91 KiB | Viewed 659 times ]

the center in the throttle curve equals at 50% of engine curve and in the center stick the governor it starts to select rpm and i to have at 80% of engine curve 2800rpm i set max rpm 3490rpm, in this mode i have:
100% 3490rpm
80% 2800rpm
75% 2600rpm
69% 2400rpm
66% 2300rpm
I also crimped the servo connectors to be sure that copper of the thread good contact same in this photo
Attachment:
servo4.jpg
servo4.jpg [ 516.79 KiB | Viewed 659 times ]

later i checked the continuity with the tester and it's perfect
If the engine is stopped this happens
https://1drv.ms/v/s!AlKmGfxd3G4JvhsE7AS359_gXScI?e=xhJyaC
but I think it works the same
I tried to move the minimum value 1100usec but nothing changes.
I want to remember which I opened the sensor from the bag.
When the engine is stopped the sensor it comes out written active and inactive intermittently.
I also entered a graphite ring against interference the same to that of the esc

Hello,

possibly only different ESC settings could help.
In any case it will not cause any troubles. Some ESCs in some configurations are putting signal to motor even when motor is stopped. For this reason it is measuring RPM. But because signal is too week motor is not running.

ok.
Of cyclic with trex 500 i have to set 6 degrees or 10 degrees ?
Why in this menù i read 10°

However my main intention is that to use the minimum limit of the geolink.
And I see than in the other topic of this forum a user he is having problems.
Below the geolink I saw this thing

casually this thing it is for reading the air pressure ? (from the barometer)
When you place you have to put only in the center the double sided tape not to block this sensor?
in this mode: (they are photos taken from the internet just to understand the concept so it's not important if it's the version 1 or 2, my version of the geolink it's number 2 and spirit rs)

In this menu you should not set 6 and also not 10. Instead you should set what limit manufacturer of this model recommend. So that you will not get boomstrike but also you will get fast enough rotation.
If you want to be safe, then increase it until you will achieve rolls and flips that you like.
Ideal value can be 9 - 11°. Each pilot require different settings, but for FBL unit more is always better. If you will set 11° immediately it will be fine for all kinds of flight style.

Opening in the bottom of the GeoLink is for Laser sensor. Not air pressure sensor. It should have direct visibility to ground. But if it is not possible, it will work well too. Just without laser measurement.
