Hello,
I have an question - I have an old 300er helicopter with an mue Spirit on it. At the moment I have an normal Spektrum satellite, it works but without telemetry -
Is it possible to take this adaptor cable alone with an SRXL2 satellite as an SPM4650T and put it in the satellite port of the mue Spirit to get additional telemetry, does it work ?
My problem is that I have no additional input for the normal connection of an SRXL2 satellite -

Thanks for your help !

Greetings
Matthias

Hello Tomas,

please can you tell me if that will work ?
I think no one other than you can give me an answer because you and your team are the developers -
It takes you nearly no time to give me a yes or a no - :|

Thanks

Have you had a look through this page?....

Should tell you whether or not it's able.
Hope it helps :)

Hello Pete,

thanks for your answer, yes I know this page -
My question is a little bit different - with this new adaptor cable it will be possible to use the normal satellite port alone in the mue spirit and not the version with the other adaptor cabe, you will see it in the added pic - my problem is that I have not enough space to route the other cable/adaptors, thats a little 300 er - I show you pictures from the situation of my heli it's an old Solo Pro287 from nine eagles totally rebuilt with new ESC (hobbywing), new servos (Spektrum), additional capacitator 2700 μF and the μspirit (Spirit)- it flies wonderfull and very quietly - the new cable would reduce the effort with the cabeling -
That's the only thing I want to know beause the normal spektrum satellite has no telemetry and I want to have it -

Sorry in the preview I see there are not all uploaded pictures shown, I will upload them after this post -

Best Regards
Matthias

I think i know what you mean now. If you have a look at this page, right at the bottom it tells you where you need to plug the srxl plugs into.....
http://manual.spirit-system.com/index.p ... E.BCSpirit
The cable at the bottom you've pictured is the cable you'll need to make the telemetry work. The newer srxl2 receivers have 4 pins so the first 3 go into the rudder port and the single into the sys port. The older satellites only have 3 wires and are unable to send telemetry. But the newer srxl2 protocol has full integration with the system.
Hope this helps :)
Pete

If it were me i'd go with the spm4651t as it's a full range rx with a very small footprint. Not much bigger than the satellite your running now. Plus it's full telemetry, not just fly-by.
This is just my opinion though. If i wanted telemetry then i'd want it when i need it, and not have to wait to pass to get the data i need.

Hi Pete,
yes you are right but please look at the announcement in Firmware 3.2.0

Because of this entry I came up with the idea of solving it in such a way that it would be much easier to wire (one cable), because in the normal way I would plug two additional JST servo adapters into the μspirit to connect to the Spektrum SRXL2 adapter and to secure it and then to wire it cleanly - I don't have much space under the canopy either - that's why I would have known Tomas' opinion .. But I don't think I get an answer from him .. :(

Best regards
Matthias

Hello,

you can use old Spektrum satellites or new SRXL2 satellites. Not both at the same time.

We recommend to place order for SRXL2-Adapter. In the order message please add note: "For microSpirit".
This will be the best solution for you.

Then you could add optionally second SRXL2 satellite with SRXL2-satellite cable. But in the most cases it is not needed for such small helicopters.

I recommend buying SPM4651T which is full range receiver. Only one is enough also for a bigger models.
