Hello, I am setting up a Spirit unit on my Goblin 380 and (with a lot of help from James at Esprit Models) have everything ready to go, with one exception. My tail servo has very restricted movement. I am using a BK5005HV Tail servo and it was giving me full movement with the Ikon unit that this Spirit unit is replacing. We tried everything in the software and on the Jeti that we could think of, with no luck. I think that I am only getting between 5 and possibly 10 degrees of movement in each direction on the servo. I tried it with a new servo and got the same results. Also, I disconnected the tail pushrod to eliminate any possible binding problems, and the limitations are in the servo. Do you have any suggestions of things to try?
I have the 1.1.0 firmware on the Spirit unit and the latest firmware on the Jeti DS 16. A new model was set up as a mechanical Swash, and I am using a Jeti R3 and Jeti EX set up, and a Kontronik Koby 90 running at 6.5 volts. Any help you can offer will be much appreciated

Hi,
are you sure you have enabled Head Lock gyro mode? You can check this in the Diagnostics tab - you should see HL, instead of N.
Also make sure that you have configured correct neutral pulse (1520us vs 760us).

Hello, Thanks for the speedy reply, I have the correct neutral pulse of 760 for my BK DS-5005HV Servo. But, I cannot find (in the Spirit software) where to set Head Lock Gyro Mode. I can see the "N" in the Diagnostic- Input Channels- Gyro located in the Diagnostic tab, but I cannot seem to find where I have an option to set "HL" or "N", in any of the tabs. Sorry, I am new to the Spirit System and don't know my way around it yet. Where do I go to set the HL mode? Thanks again, Brian T

You have to set your Gyro Gain in the transmitter. Without this you can't tune your tail - it is very same as for nearly all gyros/fbl units. Positive gyro gain is Head Lock, Negative is Normal mode.
