I would like to attach Geolink to a carbon tailpipe. Is it possible?
Is there anything I should be careful about?
I am concerned about the interference of electrical noise

I guess if you use a GPS mount supplied by Spirit, or something similar which makes the GPS unit stand slightly proud of the tail boom, this will increase the ability of the unit to work in altitude sense around the underlying carbon tail boom.
My understanding is that there is a sensitive manometer withing the FBL unit, but also a sensor in the GPS unit, which I guess will need a degree of 'view' of beneath, past the boom. Giving a degree of stand-off above and past a carbon-fibre boom will increase this ability somewhat.
Regards,
Andy

thank you
It is at least 5cm far from a rigid conductive parts such as carbon frame or bolts
I am also concerned about the above content.
Is there any problem?

I used PVC pipe clamps glued together. I would have used the Spirit mount, but it was difficult to find. I trimmed the legs a little shorter and then used PVC glue to glue 3 together to make a squarish top

Thank you
It is difficult to ensure a distance of 5 cm between the carbon tail pipe and Geolink.
Is it okay even at close range?
I would appreciate it if there was a track record

Is it okay to wire the Geolink cable directly on the carbon tail pipe?
I'm worried that carbon pipes will generate electrical noise

No problem with carbon at all. You can install GeoLink closer. Carbon is not magnetic so it is fine.
Only if it is covered by a thick layer of carbon then signal intensity might be worse.
