Hi,
I am using an old Spirit unit in a glow helicopter (five servos), flying with one Spektrum satellite, but I want to add at least one more for safety. The problem is that the only free ports are SYS and ELE/PIT/TAIL as the RUDD one is occupied by the external BEC power supply, but I should use this port to connect a Spektrum multi adapter. Would it be safe to use a Y-cable in the RUDD port to connect a new satellite and also the power supply from the BEC? Another better suggestion?
Thank you.

In this setup with this unit the only option is to use Y-cable. It is safe if Y-cable is of good quality. We recommend to get the cable we offer in our eshop. It has high current rating suitable also for BEC.
