Hi. I have a trex 600L Dfc heli with spirit2 fbl.
After i install and set the fbl the heli flight great. The tail is solid without any shake or drift.
What i only realised is that during windy day the tail shakes left right slowly. The same problem can be during backward flight. Is possible someone to give me a tip how i can solve that problem?
I forget to mention that the settings on my spirit is stantard. Thanks

Hello Tino,
have you checked if you have the max. possible tail gain without yelling of the rudder ?
I found out that in a windy day you can perfect dail in the tailgain with fast forward flight - If the tail yells you must reduce the gain till you hear no yelling any more, only then can you continue with the other settings -

By the way here is a tuning guide in Spirit Manual:

Hi,
In general, one can say that if the amplification is too low, there is slow oscillation, if the amplification is too high, there is rapid oscillation - it is best to simply vary the gain in both directions, then it quickly becomes clear what is right - nothing happens if you just try it and +- Adjust 5 points - no one will be able to tell you a specific setting value, you have to "fly" it out-

Hello,

slow tail wag comes almost always when something goes not perfectly smooth in the tail mechanics.
The bigger force servo has to overcome, the bigger angle is the tail wag usually.
In your case it will be quite good, but not perfect. If it does not happen normally with no wind.

Sometimes it can be reduced or sorted by changing Rudder Delay and Pirouette Consistency. But it could sacrifice tail performance.

Can you share your settings file?

With default settings it will not work very likely well.
What is your tail servo?
