in the special section about it, the manual says:
Please assign Throttle channel in the General/Channels at Channel 1.
But, I have channels 1, 2, 3, 4 assigned as per the manual.
So, what to do now?

Thank you

don't be confused by input channels ( from RX )
and output channels ( to servos )

;)

I am confused...
I was told to insert the ESC plug into AUX1 on the Spirit - this is as it is now.
The 1,2,3,4 are plugs inserted from the Spirit TO the servos : Pitch, Elevator, Ailerone, Rudder

In the software however, the Throttle channle is Unassigned, but in the drop down options there is no AUX1 to be selected, so the Throttle is Unassigned

The sticks movements are currently activating the WRONG servos
So, Not to be confused?

keep in mind that the CH number of the servos has nothing to do with CH numbers in the TX ;-)

first you connect the SPM4651T to spirit
then using spirit settings you choose SRXL2
then you move the sticks and change the channel assigment using the button "Channels" that is near the receiver selection
and you have to match the channels that you see in the "Diagnostic" tab

is nonsense to change the channel assignment in the TX
because some channels have some special preset

and btw VERY important is that in your TX you choose 90° swashplate ( H1 )
is the spirit that then will do all the mixing for the 120° swashplate

By default channel mapping with SRXL2 will require very likely no or almost no changes. So it should be plug and play, unless you will completely change radio profile. So default settings = will work immediately.
Onyl SRXL2 should be selected and Throttle channel assigned in the Channels window.

Sorry, the term in my mind should be ESC, becasue that stick controls two functions, motor and pitch

My ESC is plugged into AUX1, I followed the instructions, but
1) In the software it shows as unassigned, AND
2) IF I try to assign throttle to something - AUX1 is NOT an option in the drop down list

So?

Thanks

is because in the spirit software, you are assigning the function of the spirit to the TX channel
not vice-versa
so in the spirit for the throttle, you just have to select channel 1
then go in diagnostic and see if moving throttle stick, make move the throttle indicator
