Hi,
I've been struggling to achieve my wish to combine flight modes and banks on a 3-way switch and have a Rescue button which will operate irrespective of the bank selected. You may have seen my thread on the 'General Discussion' part of the forum and despite helpful replies and me keep trying, it can't be done.
I have 6 helis, 5 with Spirit units and as I move from 'competent hovering' to more adventurous (risky) flying, I want to adopt a switch / function layout for stabi and rescue on my Jeti DS-12 which will work across all helis, so I can get used to one style and 'finger-memory'.
The problem I now have is operating stabi and rescue from a 3-position bank switch; the centre will be 'Stabi disabled', one way will be 'stabilisation' (e.g. Stabi Normal), and the other way is spring-loaded for Rescue. To keep things simpler, I have flight modes on a separate 3-position switch.
The 3 banks are set up as follows, with Bank channel 7 and Stabi channel 8.
Bank0 - switch back - Stabi - Bank channel 7 @ (-100)% Bank1 - Switch mid - Stabi disabled Bank channel 7 @ (0)% Bank2 - switch forward/sprung - Rescue - Bank channel 7 @ (+100)%
The rescue function (+100)% works fine, but Stabi doesn't, so I'm trying to understand how the unit recognises each bank, from the output of ch7. If I setup the switch for (+100)% - 0% - (+100)%, the diagnostic window shows Bank2 - Bank1 - Bank2.
Any ideas, please?
Cheers, Andy
